Quality Marking at BSW

A high resolution printing system is set to transform the appearance of product at BSW Timber's Boat of Garten sawmill.

The company has purchased a new Timbermark printing system, which prints grade stamps onto carcassing and the “Deckmark” quality logo onto decking boards.

The high resolution stamp is mounted on the Wadkin planer line and produces significantly clearer text and more detail on logos - enabling BSW to improve the appearance of its product.

Dave Mills, Mill Manager said: “The new system prints the Trada Q Mark and our company logo in crisp detail, and produces a much more attractive-looking carcassing product. The Deckmark logo looks very good with the high resolution print, and allows us to make the most of our membership of the Deckmark quality assurance scheme. ”
