Marking components with an identification code helps streamline your assembly operation, and marking the finished product improves installation efficiency on site.
For components, the part number from the control PC on a woodworking machine can be imported into the printer so that it prints the identification directly onto the piece. On optimising cross cut saws, the length data can be sent to the printer, so that the pieces are all marked with their length, making subsequent assembly more efficient.
For finished products, the Handjet portable printer applies data cut and pasted from a PC screen. This can be done within the cycle time of a CNC profiler, for example, or can be used to address finished goods in a dispatch area.
